Fantasy (make-up and hair)

Make-up

I was very excited when I got the opportunity to do the hairstyle and make-up for fantasy photo shoot. We were considering many make-up styles and it was very difficult to pick up the right one. My model didn't want it to be too dark but also not too neutral. She really wanted to have the ornaments drew on the sides of her face with incorporated rhinestones which I found an awesome idea.
I have started with the basic cut-crease eye look with the main golden color. I darkened the crease and edges with a medium brown and soft black eye shadow and I made sure that both were blended very well and transitions were smooth. Next I lined the top lash lines and applied a thin layer of foundation. I also concealed the under eye areas and some blemishes and I contoured the cheekbones lightly. Next I defined eyebrows, applied mascara and lipstick and then I moved on to the artistic part of the look. I  first made several spots with golden cream eye shadow on both sides of my model's face. Then I drew the ornaments with black liquid liner. Next I applied dots of a false eyelashes adhesive on the places where I wanted the rhinestones to be (I did this with a Q-tip). Afterwards I placed the rhinestones on the glue dots.

Hair

First I curled the hair and I pined it up till it cooled off completely. Then I divided the curls a bit with my fingers. I applied a thin layer of dry shampoo on the roots of the hair to make the braiding easier. I also smoothed some of the curly baby hair around my model's face with a flat iron. Then I moved on to the braids. I made 2 dutch braids above each other on the both sides of the head and then I braided them with each other in the crown area. I've set the braids with strong hold hairspray.
