Romantische half-updo #1

Fuchsia-roze tinten voor stralende groene ogen (colorful make-up)

![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbh0ZcyM7z-k8hFDt0MRrYFrF6in__22pydMf4t7gimiT230OdkqvNgiEbPDPqFkAbjE4qKV0pufioSORamu0mufyGqvVmi5ilEKzQaAomeiF1mc4teDY9T9oOGEwVZkwFmW0aF16a2Mc/s320/3.jpg)
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKxlhInXiptqvAlNYaX_RkPl2e2q9Sf9d3n5sX_f1QAMum4OVgnj3SwHuoZsBjfjOB5FQWdGBiAGzhamF6qaC46xaOjIUjhN236Sg9moRvQM_yUhoayC1s0WR7uRJaSYiVSOxceulJCk4/s320/4.jpg)

Fantasy (make-up and hair)
Make-up
I was very excited when I got the opportunity to do the hairstyle and make-up for fantasy photo shoot. We were considering many make-up styles and it was very difficult to pick up the right one. My model didn't want it to be too dark but also not too neutral. She really wanted to have the ornaments drew on the sides of her face with incorporated rhinestones which I found an awesome idea.I have started with the basic cut-crease eye look with the main golden color. I darkened the crease and edges with a medium brown and soft black eye shadow and I made sure that both were blended very well and transitions were smooth. Next I lined the top lash lines and applied a thin layer of foundation. I also concealed the under eye areas and some blemishes and I contoured the cheekbones lightly. Next I defined eyebrows, applied mascara and lipstick and then I moved on to the artistic part of the look. I first made several spots with golden cream eye shadow on both sides of my model's face. Then I drew the ornaments with black liquid liner. Next I applied dots of a false eyelashes adhesive on the places where I wanted the rhinestones to be (I did this with a Q-tip). Afterwards I placed the rhinestones on the glue dots.
Hair
First I curled the hair and I pined it up till it cooled off completely. Then I divided the curls a bit with my fingers. I applied a thin layer of dry shampoo on the roots of the hair to make the braiding easier. I also smoothed some of the curly baby hair around my model's face with a flat iron. Then I moved on to the braids. I made 2 dutch braids above each other on the both sides of the head and then I braided them with each other in the crown area. I've set the braids with strong hold hairspray.Saturday, June 11, 2016

Make up for matured skin (70+)
I was very excited to do this make up because of my very special model. This lady is 72 years old and she suffers from condition caused by brain hemorrhage in 1995. Since then is left side of her body numb which causes lots of problems with walking, she can not use her left arm and this condition is also visible on her face when left side is significantly lower than the right side.
Anyway, she agreed to be my model and I have to admit that this is the eldest person I have ever put make up on and I was quite worried about the result. Fortunately, it turned out well and my model (and me) was very satisfied with the result.
I have started with foundation (I used Maybelline SuperStay 24H in shade Sand) and by concealing dark spots under eyes and pigment spots caused by ageing I have used Dermablend corrective stick by Vichy in shade 14 Nude . Than I applied thin layer of loose powder (Dermablend by Vichy) and I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow pomade in shade Chocolate as gel eyeliner and I applied thin layer along the top eyelashes and I extended the line a bit towards the outer corners. Then I applied quite a generous amount of mascara on top and bottom lashes. Then I did bit of contouring and I used blush with shimmer and lipstick by Max Factor. To finish off I enhanced eyebrows with brow pencil by Catrice in shade Dark Brown.

For eye make up you have to be very light handed because it can
easily look too harsh. I have concentrated the eyeshadow mainly on lash lines and bit into crease because my model has hooded lids so the eyeshadow wouldn't show. In order to make the eyes look bigger I have applied more shadow onto lower lash line. I also applied 2 coats of mascara onto top and bottom lashes. I filled the brows very lightly with brow pencil and light brow powder. I applied clear brow gel at last to give it more natural look. Then I applied little bit of blush and I filled-in lips with lip pencil which is similar to my model's natural lip colour. To finish off I have applied bit of a lip gloss.

Then I set everything with a loose powder and I did bit of a light contouring, bit of shimmery highlights on top of the cheek bones and bit of a shimmery brown blush. I also applied bit of bronzer all over the high
points of the face to make transition between contouring and highlighting more natural. Then I defined brows with dipbrow pomade and I brushed them through with clear brow gel to make them look more naturally. Then I applied generous coat of mascara to op and bottom lashes. I finished off with coral shimmery lip gloss.

I started with applying creamy copper shimmery eyeshadow all over the lid. Then I applied soft peachy eyeshadow on top of it, I blended the edges with matt skin color shadow and I applied darker peachy shadow into outer corners. Then I applied maroon shadow into outer V parts and a bit along the lash line and warm dark brown on top of it. I applied a bit onto the outer part of the lower lid as well. Then I applied a vibrant shimmery orange shadow on the middle part of the top lid and all along the bottom lid. Then I applied matt white shadow under the brown bone and into inner corners.
Then I made a very thin line with gel eyeliner on outer half of the lash line and I extended it outwards. Then I smudged it with dark grey matt eyeshadow.
Then I moved on to the rest of the face. I removed the fall outs with make up wipe and I applied concealer under the eyes and also on parts of the face which needed concealing - blemishes, redness etc. Then I applied bit of foundation mostly on the centre of the face, bit on the cheek bones, chin and forehead and I set everything with loose powder. Then I did a bit of contouring and I applied bronzer on cheeks, centre of the nose, chin and forehead. I didn't use any blush, nor highlight. I didn't have to do much with eyebrows, they were already perfect, so I just filled in bit of the sparse areas. Then I put on 2 coats of mascara evenly top and bottom lashes and as the last I put on the lipstick.

For foundation I mixed MAC's Pro Lonwear concealer in NC35 and Mary Kay's luminous-wear foundation in shade 4 Ivory. Then I set everything with Mary Kay's loose translucent powder and I contoured under the cheekbones a bit using the same light brown matte eyeshadow from Revlon. Then I applied a bit of a peachy satin finish blush (Sleek Face Form Contouring and blush palette 373 Light).
Afterwards I filled-in the brows a bit to give them a nice shape and definition using Inglot's 342 eyeshadow and then I brushed them through with a clear brow gel. Then I applied Max Factor's Clump Defy mascara to top and bottom lashes first and Rimmel's Scandal Eyes second.
I finished off the look with neutral peachy lipgloss.

For foundation I used La Roche-Posay Hydreane BB Creme Light. I contoured a bit under the cheekbones using LA Girl Pro HD concealer in Cool Tan and I set the entire face with loose translucent powder from Mary Kay.
Afterwards I applied a bit of powder contour using Revlon's matte brown eyeshadow in shade 05 Hazelnut.
For blush I applied peachy-pink satin finish blush from Sleek Face Form Contouring and blush palette 373 Light. Then I defined the brows using Essence's brow pencil in shade blond and I brushed them through with clear brow gel. I finished off the eyes with mascara (Rimmel Scandal Eyes) and I applied L’Oréal Color Riche lipstick in shade 226 Rose Glace.

I've started with priming the eyelids as usually. I used MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. I applied it into the crease and upwards right under the brows. Then I primed the lids (the moving part) using L’Oréal Color Riche LeKajal in shade 501 Black. I concentrated mainly on the lashline where the color was supposed to be the darkest. I lined the bottom lids as well. This kajal pencil is quite thick so I used L’Oréal Color Riche LeKhol in shade 101 Midnight black for details (inner and outer corners). I blended the pencil a bit so it wouldn't crease. Next I applied my transition shades Inglot Freedom system matte in shade 390 and 342. I spent quite a while blending them. Then I moved on to the black eyeshadow.

I defined the brows using Rimmel Glam eyes 214 Jet Black eyeshadow and small angled brush. I brushed them through with clear brow gel.
For the lips I used simple and nude rosy-pink lipstick with golden undertone L’Oréal Color Riche in shade 226 Rose Glace.

I started with priming the skin using Revlon photoready perfecting primer. I applied a very thin layer all over the face except for the beard area.
Then I applied a very thin layer of MAC Paint Pot in shade Soft Ochre on the lids to even out the
skin color and to hide any discoloration. Then I applied La Roche-Posay Hydreane BB Creme Light all over the face
except for the under eye area and the beard area. Next I applied MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in shade NC 20 under the eyes to cover up the darkness. I used beauty blender for application to get the maximum coverage. Afterwards I applied another layer of concealer - LA Girl HD Concealer in shade Natural. This covered up the darkness pretty good.

I set everything with loose white setting powder by Grimase.
Then I contoured the sides of the face, forehead, nose and under the cheekbones using Revlon Colorstay eyeshadow in shade 05 Hazelnut.
I used this eyeshadow on the lower lids as well to create more depth which I lost applying concealers. I also applied off white eyepencil in the waterline.
Afterwards I filled in brows a bit using Maybelline's Color Tattoo cream eyeshadow in shade Taupe and small angled brush. I drew just a few small strokes mimicking the hair in eyebrows to achieve the most natural effect. Afterwards I brushed the brows through with some clear brow gel. As a last step I sprayed my model's face with fixing spray (from w7) to achieve the most natural effect.

I mixed a bit of La Roche-Posay Hydreane BB Creme in shade Light with MAC Pro Longwear concealer in NC 20 and applied a very thin layer all over the face. I also applied a bit of Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face illuminator in shade 100 bare light on the highest points of the cheekbones and in the centre of the nose to get radiant and youthful effect. Then I set everything with loose translucent setting powder from Mary Kay. I also contoured a bit under the cheekbones and jaws using Revlon Colorstay in shade 05 Hazelnut.
I defined and filled in brows using Maybelline Color Tattoo creamy eyeshadow in shade Taupe and brow pencil in shade blonde from Essence. I also brushed them through afterwards with clear brow gel.
For the lips I mixed Maybelline Super Stay 24 Color 615 Soft Taupe and Max Factor Lipfinity 046 Innocent on the back of my hand and I applied them with small lip brush.

I primed the face using Smashbox Photo Finish foundation primer. For foundation I used Mary Kay CC Cream in shade Deep. I highlighted the under eye area, the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose and chin using LA Girl Pro HD concealer in shade Cool Tan. I also applied Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face illuminator in shade 100 bare light on the highest points of the cheekbones to achieve glowing youthful effect. I set everything using Black Opal Deluxe Finishing loose Powder in shade 03 Medium.
Next I defined the eyebrows using black matte eyeshadow (Rimmel Glam eyes 214 Jet Black) and clear brow gel.
For lips I chose long lasting lipstick in nude shade - Maybelline Super Stay 14H Lipstick in shade 720 Lasting Chestnut.

I lined the waterline with a black eye pencil and I blended the black eyeshadow I applied earlier with the same brown one I applied in the crease (from Sleek Vintage Romance palette). I also highlighted the inner corners a bit using silver shimmery eyeshadow (also from Sleek Vintage Romance palette).
Then I moved on to the rest of the face.
I cleaned out fall outs as first and then I applied Smashbox Photo Finish foundation primer all over the face. I mixed MAC Pro Longwear concealer in NC45 with NC35 to match my client's skin and I applied very thin layer with my fingers. Then I highlighted the under eye area using LA Girl Pro HD concealer in shade Cool Tan. I also contoured the cheekbones slightly using my Beauty88 concealer palette and it's darkest shade. I set the whole face with Black Opal Deluxe Finishing Powder in shade 03 Medium.
I also applied just a tiny bit of blush on the apples of the cheeks. Next I applied false eye lashes and liquid eyeliner to hide the bend and as a last step I defined the brows. I used black matte eyeshadow for that. My client was very happy with how this look turned out.
