Make up for matured skin 45+ (neutrale make-up)

With make up for matured skin is the most important flawless skin. To achieve this start with primer depending on skin type. With ageing we are dealing mostly with dry skin, therefore I have used primer with slightly oily finish and heavy coverage foundation with very liquid and light formula. You should be careful with type of foundation because most of heavy coverage foundation intend to have very matt finish which is mostly undesirable with matured skin because it may cause that skin looks very dull, The best is to create slightly dewy finish. After foundation, conceal all of imperfections - blemishes, redness, dark spots, under eye circles, pigment spots etc. My model has no those kind of imperfections except some discoloration on her nose, forehead and chin. I have covered it with Maybelline Super Stay concealer in shades 2 and 3. To set it I have used loose powder.
It is the best option because it doesn't cake the face and doesn't cause too much of a undesired matte finish, I have mentioned earlier.
For eye make up you have to be very light handed because it can

easily look too harsh. I have concentrated the eyeshadow mainly on lash lines and bit into crease because my model has hooded lids so the eyeshadow wouldn't show. In order to make the eyes look bigger I have applied more shadow onto lower lash line. I also applied 2 coats of mascara onto top and bottom lashes. I filled the brows very lightly with brow pencil and light brow powder. I applied clear brow gel at last to give it more natural look. Then I applied little bit of blush and I filled-in lips with lip pencil which is similar to my model's natural lip colour. To finish off I have applied bit of a lip gloss.
